Enzyme Active Carp Baits, equalled only, by Mother Nature Herself.
I have been told from a very early age that when i put my mind to something, it often turns into an unhealthy obsession. Carp fishing and especially the technicalities of all things related to carp attraction being probably my biggest obsession of all.
Nichols Quarry, Waveney Valley and the Blue Lake in Kent, were where I spent most of my holidays, as a youth, catching regularly, pestering all the top rods and learning my trade. I made phone calls to Kevin Maddocks, to get advice on bait and being the helpful man that he was , he came back with a few gems that stood me well, notably trout pellets with caramel flavouring, which at the time ,took the waters i was fishing apart. I remember wandering into John Wilson’s shop in Norwich aged 15 and was relentlessly asking him which of Duncan Kays Slyme baits was best . He eventually threw me out of his shop but at the same time laughing that wonderful laugh of his that we all knew and loved. God Bless Him. Another wonderfully helpful and inspirational man.
Bait became a strange fascination for me and the science behind bait development became a big part of my life and a key factor, alongside the basic fundamentals of location and bait application, in me catching more than a few carp throughout my teenage years, having been very fortunate to have some fantastic mentors along the way.
I have made my own bait and baits for others for a very long time and the beauty of that is the confidence factor and the knowledge that you are in total control of what goes into them, coupled with the pure fact that you are capable of making fantastic baits, with the best and freshest ingredients. available. To me, freshness and quality are everything.
Ultimate Carp Nutrition is my obsession, as is your success and I hope you enjoy the journey with me.
Angling began for me over thirty years ago on the river Great Ouse and the Bedford drains up in Cambridgeshire. All manner of silver fish, Eels, Pike and even the odd Zander were in abundance. Then, sometime in the early nineties, I began to think about catching big Carp and very quickly became entirely obsessed with it. This obsession has taken me to many beautiful places home and abroad and I have amassed a lifetime of memories because of it. I'm an open minded angler, and love all carp fishing. I've fished many waters in the UK, France, Italy and a little in the United States. I first became aware of UCN back in 2007 purely by chance really, their bait is responsible for my UK personal best to this day.
I am confident their products will be responsible for me achieving an even better PB in the near future.
Carp fishing has consumed me since the early 80’s and the flame burns brighter the older I get.
From small intimate lakes to silty country estate lakes, through to the large gravel pits of Kent and the Colne Valley my journey continues. Fishing close in and watching my quarry is my specialty.
Passing on my passion and knowledge to help others is a priority for me, so come say hello if you see me on the bank.
Using UCN products has definitely been an edge for me, so when Dean called me up and asked me to join the team I was well chuffed - cheers bud!
I am a very experienced and knowledgeable carp angler (of 35 yrs)
I'm open, honest, have good etiquette and a total believer of old school values.
I'm a self confessed anorak through a long term obsession with all things Carpy.
From entomology to chemoreception, with a big big interest of watercraft in between.
My greatest accomplishments are always being consistent on the waters I angle on, namely club waters and syndicates, I leave no stone un-turned, whilst also working full time.
Catching more than most on all the waters I've angled on, using all of the skills I have acquired since I was 17.
Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions in regards to your angling. I would be more than happy to help. Just use the Contact Us tab
With a wealth of European Big water experience and a host of massive fish to his credit Matt pretty much knows the score when it comes to Big Carp. Having put the mighty Orellana and Sierra Brava Lakes on the map in Spain over 13 years ago, Matt is top in his field when it comes to catching more than his share of Chunks . With his is knowledge of the industry coupled with his ability to always catch Huge carp on these inland seas, he is a valuable asset to UCN and we welcome him now officially to the Team. Being a huge fan of our original Moonfruit and Moonspice boilies from back in the day. Just 5 minutes on the telephone with Matt and you can tell from the get go that he certainly knows his stuff and his passion for the UCN brand is deeply ingrained from the early days of the amazing Moonfruit's success when he absolutely smashed the waters in Spain with this phenomenal bait and he will no doubt be showing us all how best to utilise The Ultimate "E" and Moonfruit again and lead the way with even more captures of truly huge carp in 2020.
We are a fishing mad duo who fish whenever and wherever we can. George has appeared on sky sports and in some of the well known magazines while Sam bailiffs and manages some private lakes in the depths of Dorset. Sam is a very active angler, always traveling super light with minimal gear stalking the margins wherever possible targeting individual fish. Whereas George loves to mix it up and fish which ever way possible carrying slightly more gear but equipped for any scenario aiming for big hits of fish. We have both had a fair share of great catches already using the UCN baits. Check out our Youtube channel (Essential Noddies Adventures) where you can see the UCN products in action. We are extremely excited to be part of the team and look forward to using the baits and liquids to capture and help develop the company as much as possible.
For me carp fishing is an obsession. It started over 20 years ago when I was around 12 years old fishing places like Darenth complex, Littlebrook and local park lakes, for me bait has always been a big part of my fishing as I've grown up around a few top anglers who always made sure their bait was made with only the best ingredients and to a high specification just like the Moonfruit from UCN, I've known Dean for almost 20 years and first used UCN bait back in 2006 when it would demolish every water it got used on, so of course when Dean asked me to join the team I jumped at the chance to get my hands on the enzyme baits again and put them to good use, the future is looking bright and with the help of the Moonfruit enzyme boilies and the Liquid 'E' it's only going to get better.
Happ"e" carping everyone
Carp fishing is a big part of my life and has been that way since the late 90's, first cutting my teeth at the Darenth complex and a few local ponds and pits,, learning what I could from the more experienced anglers I fished with and older one's I met. I've fished all over the UK, France and Holland catching both mirrors and commons to over 50lb, the bulk of my fishing these days is quick over nighter's due to work commitments but last year my daughter took a keen interest and now is a member on one of my syndicate lakes and comes regularly too, I've always been a boilie angler and I am a firm believer in top quality ingredients in my bait!, I used the Moonfruit back in 06-07 and it devastated waters back then,,,I've known Dean a very long time so it was nice to hear UCN was to make a come back but then I got the call that he wanted me on the team.....how could I turn him down! So here I am armed with Enzymes and Moonfruit proudly holding up the UCN flag. The carp just ain't ready!
